Region and Unique Features:

Stellenbosch – A Wine Lover's Paradise

The Garajeest Bruce Cabernet Franc is produced in the renowned wine region of Stellenbosch, situated in the Western Cape of South Africa. The region is known for its diverse terroir and Mediterranean climate, providing ideal conditions for growing high-quality Cabernet Franc grapes.

Climate and Impact on Wine:

Mediterranean Magic

Stellenbosch's Mediterranean climate, characterized by warm days and cool nights, plays a significant role in the development of the Garajeest Bruce Cabernet Franc. The slow ripening of the grapes allows for the development of complex flavors, fine tannins, and a balanced acidity, resulting in a well-structured and elegant wine.

Wine Characteristics:

A Symphony of Flavors

The Garajeest Bruce Cabernet Franc is a complex and elegant wine, offering a harmonious balance of fruit, spice, and earthy notes. With flavors of red and black fruit, hints of green bell pepper, and a touch of spice, this wine is both expressive and well-rounded. The fine tannins and vibrant acidity provide a solid structure, leading to a long and satisfying finish.

The Story of Garajeest Bruce Cabernet Franc:

A Personal Tribute

Callan Williams, affectionately known as "The Garajeest," began her winemaking journey with a deep passion for the craft and an appreciation for the unique qualities of South African terroir. Named after her brother, the Bruce Cabernet Franc represents her commitment to creating wines that are both personal and reflective of the land from which they come.
